Bill loved sports. He was a long time Cleveland sports fan and spent his summers coaching his son's Little League baseball team, the Yankees. He spent his free time watching various sports games live and on TV, taking long drives in the country, and having family cookouts. He loved traveling on AmTrak. Bill and Monica enjoyed going to the 536 MP's Reunions every year.
He was also a member of the "Statemen Chorus" of The Western Reserve Chapter of the Johnnie Appleseed Barbershop for over 30 years.
Everyone loved his family's recipe for chocolate fudge, which he would make with his sister, Clara, and shared it with everyone for the holidays. He also would take vegetables to the V. A. office in Ashtabula for them to share with others.
His wishes were not to have a funeral service. He will be privately buried at a later date.
