Wanda L. Booth, age 81, passed away December 5, 2020 at Saybrook Landing, surrounded by her loving family. She was born September 3, 1939 in Ashe County, North Carolina, the daughter of Herman and Irene (Pope) Woodie. Wanda and her husband moved to Ashtabula in 1959.
Wanda had worked at Loblaws (Valu King) as a meat wrapper for many years, then as an SPD Aide for ACMC. She absolutely loved reading and being with her family and friends. Wanda will always be remembered for her loving and caring nature - putting others before herself was always her way of life.
Survivors include her daughter, Shirley Booth Connor of Ohio; son, Donald Booth and wife, Hallie Booth of Richmond, Virginia; grandchildren, Daniel Connor, John Connor, Gloria Pierce, and Oliver Smith; nine great-grandchildren, Kaylee, Reese, Addilyn, Colt, Jaxon, Chloe, Serenity, Jonah, and Lincoln; siblings, Dixie Landreth, Bobbie Brown, and Denver Woodie, all of North Carolina, Judy Dumperth of Kansas, Patty Lewis of Alabama, and Bill Woodie of Washington.
Wanda was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Donald A. Booth; and her granddaughter, Jenni E. Connor.
Her family would like to thank the staff at Saybrook Landing (Harbor View Hall) and Bella Care Hospice for their loving care shown to their mother during her illness.
