Suzanne (Foltz) Sidley, age 52, a lifelong resident of Ashtabula, Ohio, lost her 6-year battle with cancer on March 20, 2020. She passed peacefully in her dream home that she helped build with her life partner, Don (Donnie) Rylance and their fur-babies, in Jefferson, Ohio. She was born March 6, 1968 in Ashtabula, Ohio.
Sue was a beautiful, strong, funny, kind, caring, loving and generous woman that was loved by so many. She loved nature, working in her garden, crocheting, the outdoors, puzzles, family events and being with her loved ones.
Suzanne is survived by her parents; Diane (McKain) and William Foust, and Rickey Foltz; her daughters, Cheri and Jami Vegh (grand fur-babies); her sisters, Nancy (Roger) Tackett, Amy Richards, Tina (Cal) Meckley, Cyndi (Chad) Tempesta, and Marian Miklacic; her brother, Scott (Kelly) Peggs; her life-partner, Don Rylance; several nieces and nephews; plus many other close family members and friends.
Suzanne is preceded in death by her grandparents, James and Elsie (Midge) McKain; brother, Michael (Mikie) G. Miklacic; aunt, Denise (McKain) Hansen; uncles, James (Jimmy) McKain and David McKain; cousin, Daniel Hare; and infant niece, Diane Brooks.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of the Western Reserve, 1166 Lake Avenue, Ashtabula, Ohio.
The family of Suzanne (Foltz) Sidley would like to thank the wonderful and caring staff of Hospice of the Western Reserve. We couldn't have asked for more devoted, caring and wonderful people who were so helpful in many ways. Thank you all for being there and being so awesome. We hope God continues to bless you all.
At Sue's request there will be a Celebration of Life in lieu of services . This all-invited gathering will be scheduled and announced as soon as possible.
