Patricia "Patty" Ann (Force) Robinson

Patricia "Patty" Ann (Force) Robinson, age 67, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, May 11, 2021 at her residence in Ashtabula Harbor.  She was born November 29, 1953, in Ashtabula, the daughter of John "Jack" Stevens Force and Virginia "Ginny" Madeline (Norgren) Force.  She was a lifelong resident of Ashtabula and graduate of Harbor High School.   

An acclaimed seamstress and dressmaker, Patricia worked in clothing retail at Dillard's and the nautical specialty store, Riverfront Trader, in Ashtabula Harbor, for many years.  Most recently, amidst her own personal battle with breast cancer, she was a resolute caregiver for members of her family, including her late husband and mother.  She enjoyed the outdoors, sightseeing, birdwatching, and nature.  She tirelessly attended to her beautiful flower beds and herb and vegetable gardens.  Reading, writing, homemaking, cooking, baking, live music, dancing and fitness were just some of her hobbies.  She also adored her two cats, Mushy and Smokey.  A woman of certitude faith, she attended Bethany Lutheran Church and corresponded with The United Church of Christ. 

Patricia was preceded in death by her parents, John Stevens Force and Virginia (Force) DelPizzo; her husband, Christopher John Robinson; and her brother, Randall Steven Force.

Survivors are her only daughter, Heather (Craig) Dioneff of Ashtabula; sisters, Cynthia (Michael) Goebel of Ashtabula, Jacquelyn (Adam) Brock of Texas; sisters- and brothers-in-law, Joanne (Tom) Simon of Ashtabula, Penelope (Ron) Rantanen of Ashtabula, Sandra (Dale) Dowler of South Carolina, and Peter Goebel of Ashtabula; her only granddaughter, Lilyanna Marie Dioneff of Ashtabula; and many beloved nieces and nephews. .  

Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, May 18, 2021 at Greenlawn Memory Gardens Chapel, Route 20, North Kingsville, Ohio with Pastor Craig Adams of Gateway Church officiating.  Immediately following, a Celebration of Life will be held at Gateway Church, 2300 Austinburg Road, Ashtabula, Ohio.
