Michael Warren Burdick, age 66, passed away at home Monday, April 25, 2022, following a courageous battle with a lengthy illness. Born September 29, 1955 to Warren and Iris Burdick of North Ridgeville, he had been a resident of Jefferson, Ohio for the past four years. Previously, he had lived in North Ridgeville, Florida, California and Oregon.
He was a graduate of North Ridgeville High School. Michael was an entrepreneur of several businesses including Steamers Crab & Ale House and Mastercraft Sign Company. He enjoyed eating, DIY projects, fishing, boating, farming, traveling, and most of all, his family and friends, especially Ernie and Jean.
Michael is survived by his companion of 10 years, his beloved Maria Christel of Jefferson, Ohio; daughter, Jennifer (Toby) Gaff of Churubusco, Indiana; sisters, Nannett (Hank) Pinney of Endicott, New York, Dawn Spencer of Elyria, Ohio, Brenda (John) Chapman of North Ridgeville, Ohio, and Randi (Carl) Butcher of LaGrange, Ohio; brother, Richard (Debbie) Burdick of Elyria, Ohio and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Leslie Spencer of Cleveland, Ohio; sisters, Joyce (Roger) Evanek of Endicott, New York, Linda (Danny) Ross of North Ridgeville, Ohio, and Judith (Hill) Rogers of Tennessee.
Arrangements were handled by Potti Funeral Home and Cremation Services in Ashtabula, Ohio.
