Mary E. (Mosher) Barnum

Mary E. Barnum, age 88, of Kingsville, Ohio, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, December 12, 2021, surrounded by her loving family.  Born March 15, 1933 in Ashtabula, she was the daughter of Lawrence and Theresa (Gramc) Mosher.

Mary married Roland Barnum on July 15, 1950, and together they celebrated 59 years of marriage.  Mary loved playing the organ and piano at many churches, playing cards, and was a beautiful skater.  Most of all, she loved being with her children and grandchildren, teaching them about God and how important God is in their journey of life.  

She is survived by her sons, Allen (Sharon) Barnum, David (Sherry) Barnum, Henry Barnum and Kyle Barnum; daughters, Valerie (Mike) Sjostrom and Constance Billingsley; ten grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren and one to be born in 2022; sister, Laura Dewey; and brother, Lawrence Mosher.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents; stepfather, Frank Allen; husband, Roland Barnum; son-in-law, Bill Cole; daughter-in-law, Elaine Barnum; sisters, Helen Giddings, Bessie Johnstons and Lucille Murch; and brothers, Herbert and Robert Mosher.

Visitation will be 4-6 p.m. with 6 p.m. funeral service following on Friday, December 17, 2021, officiated by Pastor Roger Loomis, at Potti Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 1329 Lake Avenue, Ashtabula, Ohio 44004  www.pottifuneralhome.com.   Memorial contributions may be made to Hope Community Church.
