Hilda Campbell Obituary

Hilda Marie Campbell, 95, of Summer Avenue, Ashtabula, passed away May 12, 2018. She was born in Ashtabula on November 5, 1922, the daughter of John and Anna (Moore) Goodwin.

On February 22, 1946, she married Burton H. Campbell. Hilda enjoyed bowling until the age of 93, crossword puzzles, crocheting, gardening, watching the Cleveland Cavaliers, and the company of her friends.

She is survived by her sons: Bruce (Sandra) Campbell, Jeffrey Campbell, and Jerry Campbell, who cared for her in their home; her daughter Patricia Campbell; three grandchildren: Tiffany Ellman, Stacy Campbell and Cory Campbell; and her great-grandchildren: Evan Ellman, Deion Morton and Tyler and Tiffany.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Burton in 1980; her daughter Pamela Campbell in 1969; and her sisters: Beverly (Leroy) Robinson, Ruth (Ray) Rocco, and BettyLou (Francis) Candela.

At Hilda's request no services will be observed. Interment will take place in Greenlawn Memory Gardens, North Kingsville.
