Douglas Hill Obituary

Douglas L. Hill, 57, of Ashtabula, passed away at his residence on Thursday, November 15, 2018 of a massive heart attack. He was born November 2, 1961 in Ashtabula, the son of Roland and Jean (Rinas) Hill. He graduated from Edgewood High School in 1980 and was employed at Cicogna Sign Company for many years until his injury in December 2017.

He is survived by his mother, Jean Burns of Ashtabula; sister, Barbara (James) Risner of Springfield, MO; neices, Ericka (Angel) Bryan of Ashtabula, Bethany (Jeff) Kramer of Corinth TX and Jen (Paul) Gottlieb of Houston TX; nephews, Jeremy (Darcy) Risner of Columbia MO, Brett (Debra) Risner of Kansas City, MO, and Jason (Amanda) Robinson of Nashville TN.

He was preceded in death by his father; stepfathers, Cecil Hinkle and Norman Burns; and sister, Janine Burr.

Visitation is 3:00-5:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 21, 2018 at the funeral home. Service will follow at 5:00 p.m. with Rev. James Risner officiating.
