Dorothy S. Corey

Hi, I'm Dorothy Sparks-Corey; I'm dead.  With my family by my side, I left this good life on September 7, 2023. I was born in Ashtabula, Ohio to Rollie and Elizabeth Cinciarelli on March 3, 1939. I attended Mother of Sorrows Church and was in the first graduating class of St. John High School. I loved to dance, walk on the beach and I loved my music. 

My first husband, Richard E. Sparks, and I have four beautiful children, Denise, Dennis, Casey (Dickson), and Dean Sparks. I have two beautiful grandchildren, Angel and Cheyenne Carr, and a great grand baby, October. 

After Richard's passing, I later married Clifford Corey, Jr.  I was a long-time member of the VFW, Eagles, and American Legion clubs. To all my dearest friends, I have cherished our time together on this earth. From the bonds we have made to the hell we had raised, I will miss you all so dearly. 

Thank you to my hospice nurses, Country Club Rehabilitation Center and Dr. Pattali. Most of all, thank you to my beautiful family. I am ever so grateful for you all. Thank you for the love and memories through our time together.  I will miss you and always love you with all my heart. 

I am proceeded in death by Richard Sparks, Dean Sparks, Rollie Cinciarelli Jr., Marco Cinciarelli, Bobby Cinciarelli, Emma Wright, and Evelyn Yarbrough. 

Visitation will be 10:00 a.m.-12:00  p.m. Thursday, September 14, 2023, with Funeral Service at 12:00 p.m., officiated by Fr. Raymond Thomas, at Potti Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 1329 Lake Avenue,  Ashtabula, Ohio.  My burial next to my late husband Richard in LuLu Falls Cemetery will follow my funeral.  After the cemetery service, please celebrate my life with my family at a reception at 1816 W 14th St.,  Ashtabula, OH.  BYOB.
