Christine Marie (Lamont) Flowers

Christine Marie Flowers, 51, of Ashtabula, Ohio, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on July 12, 2023 following a prolonged illness. She went peacefully, surrounded by her loving family.  She was born on December 3, 1971, the daughter of Philip A Lamont Sr. and Claudia Koziarski. 

Christine leaves behind her husband, Jerry B. Flowers of  Ashtabula. They were married on August 28, 1993, just shy of 30 years.  Together they raised five children: Jerry Flowers Sr. of Ashtabula, Tiffany Flowers (deceased), Philip (Cortney) Flowers Sr. of Cherry Valley, Kyle Flowers of the United States Air Force, and Gretchen Flowers of Ashtabula. In turn, those five children gifted her with seven grandchildren: Marissa Flowers, Xavier Caskey, JJ Flowers, Samuel Flowers, Philip Flowers Jr., Thomas Pollard, and Elaina Pollard. She is also survived by her brother, Philip A "Toby" Lamont Jr. of Ashtabula,

Christine was a loving wife, mother, nana, aunt, and friend. She was one of the kindest, most loving souls and her passing leaves a huge hole in the hearts of her loved ones. Christine especially enjoyed cooking and baking for her family and she often tried new recipes. Her pumpkin rolls were always a treat. Her favorite color was purple.

Christine was employed at the Ashtabula County Nursing Home for 25 plus years. She had dedicated her life to caring for others. Her family was her greatest joy! Her free moments were always spent with family.  

She is preceded in death by her parents and daughter, Tiffany Flowers. 

Visitation will be 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday, July 16, 2023 with funeral service at 2 p.m. at Potti Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 1329 Lake Avenue, Ashtabula OH  44004.
