Beverly M. (Patterson) Runyeon

Beverly M. (Patterson) Runyeon, age 85, passed away peacefully in her home in Austinburg on Sunday, February 10, 2019. Beverly was a devoted and loving wife, mother, sister, daughter and friend. She was known as The Cleveland Indians Fan to all, and you could always hear her cheering on her Tribe through her open windows all season year after year. 

Beverly is survived by her daughters,  Melody A. Platt (Animal) Kidd of Austinburg, Ohio, and Kathy L. (Ron) Barbato of Ashtabula, Ohio; sons, Blair Russell (Cheryl) Runyeon III of Mentor, Ohio, and Robert S. (Shelly) Runyeon of Arlington, Texas;  seven grandchildren, Shannon, Jess, David, Gregory, Cory, Casey, and Logan; three great grandchildren, Zander, Lauren, and Vanessa; five brothers; and five sisters.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Robert S. (Bruce) Runyeon; son-in-law, Raymond Platt; her mother, Mary Patterson; sisters, Barbara Coble and Star Ingold; and brothers, Mike  and Jimmy Patterson.

Calling hours are 2:00-4:00 p.m. Friday, February 15th at Potti Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 1329 Lake Avenue, Ashtabula Harbor, Ohio, with memorial service immediately following at 4:00 pm.  An 11:00  a.m. graveside service will be held on Saturday, February 16th in Madison Memorial Cemetery, Arcola Road, Madison, Ohio.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Beverly’s name to Hospice of the Western Reserve.
