Ronald L. O'Baker

Ronald L. O'Baker, age78, died Saturday, January 26, 2019 at the David Simpson Hospice House in Cleveland OH.  He was born in Frostburg MD on May 1, 1940, the son of Charles and Ethel (Holler) O'Baker. 

He graduated from Geneva High School in 1958, attended Pierpont Presbyterian Church, and was a 56-year member of the Masonic Lodge #284.  He worked for the Cleveland Electric Illuminating Company, Ashtabula Plant, for 25 years until his retirement.  

He is survived by his wife, Betty (Williams) O'Baker, to whom he was married for 57 years; children, Ruthella Coder, Lynnette O'Baker, and Justus (Kim) O'Baker all of Pierpont OH; nine grandchildren, Ashley (Thatcher) Tagle of Mentor OH, Jaclyn (Ben) Flossie of Green OH, Montana Terry of Boardman OH, Austin O'Baker of Grand Junction CO, Noah and Joshua Goldsmith,  Meadow and Kendall Gilpin, and Teegan O'Baker all of Pierpont OH; five great-grandchildren, Irie and Braxton Tagle of Mentor OH, Stella and Sullivan Flossie of Green OH, and Tucker Terry of Boardman OH; brother, Robert (Marge) O'Baker of Geneva OH; several nieces and nephews; and many close friends.

Calling hours will be 6:00-8:00 p.m. Thursday, January 31, 2019 at Potti Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 1329 Lake Avenue, Ashtabula OH.  Funeral Service will be 12:00 noon Friday, February 1, 2019 at Pierpont Presbyterian Church, 71 State Route 7 South, Pierpont OH.  Pastor Larry Carr will officiate.
