Lester Maple, Sr. Obituary

Lester L. Maple Sr., age 87, of Ashtabula passed away Friday, April 12, 2019 at Carington Park Nursing Home in Ashtabula. He was born on December 25, 1931 in Negley, Ohio, the son of Henry F. and Mary Olive (Dyke) Maple.

Lester had served as a supply officer in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict and had a lifelong career in the National Guard following his time in the Army.

He is survived by his wife, Eunicia M.( Comstock ) Maple; son, Lester L. Maple, Jr.; daughter, Teresa (Russ) Pearson; stepson, Ronald (Lois) Jones; sister, Della Hoffman; and several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Lester was preceded in death b his parents; son, Keith Alan; grandson, Kevin; brothers, Earl, Paul, William, Michael Gary, and Marvin Dale.

At his request, a private family service will be held at a later date.
