Greg Metz Obituary

Greg C. Metz, age 66, passed away quietly at his home with his wife by his side on Thursday, December 20, 2018. He was born January 25, 1952 in Willoughby OH, the son of Clifford and Bedelia (Coyne) Metz.

He had worked for many years as a contractor in the building industry and had served in the U.S. Army in Germany. Greg enjoyed fishing, woodworking, gardening and history.

He is survived by his wife, Michele (Yarshen); children, Jason A. Metz, Melissa R. Metz, and Katelynn E. Coy (Jacob) all of Geneva, and Gideon G. Metz of Columbus; grandchildren, Jeffery W. Metz of Jefferson, Maddilyn M. Metz of Austinburg Township, and Nolan C. Coy and Charlie A. Metz both of Geneva.

He is preceded in death by his daughter, Mackenzee R. Metz; mother-in-law, Geraldine Yarshen; and his parents.

A celebration of life ceremony will be announced at a later date.
