Tavis Lee Osborne, 82, passed away November 9, 2023 at ACMC in Ashtabula, Ohio. He was born October 25, 1941 in McDowell, KY, the son of Oscar and Marybelle Osborne.
He had been a sandblaster and union painter along side his brothers for many years before being unable to work due to an injury. Tavis was an avid musician; he loved to sing and play his guitar, and writing his own songs. He was well-known for his love of George Jones and singing his songs.
Tavis had been married to Carol Ann (Powell) Osborne and Evelyn (Moody) Osborne.
He leaves behind four children, Tammy Osborne, Tavis Jr., Timmy and Shane, all of Ashtabula; six grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; step-son, Danny Moody; step-daughter, Shelly Carpenter of Georgia; his friend, Brenda; sisters, Hazel Reed, Bettie Frasure, and Nora (Rick) Pinney, all of Ashtabula; and brother, Oscar (Sherry) Osborne of Florida.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his sisters, Bethel Lang, Bea Root, Zetta Brooks, and Brenda Snow; and brother, Kenny Osborne.
