Minnie B. Bull

March 3, 1941 - February 21, 2018

After nearly 77 years of spreading sunshine and warmth, Minnie B. Bull passed away on February 21, 2018, after a brave battle against Alzheimers for over two years. Born in Floyd County,Kentucky on March 3,1941, she was the loving daughter of Curtis and Molly (Hall) Newsome. She moved to Ashtabula County at a young age and it was there that she met her husband of over 40 years, William Clark Bull, who preceded her in death in 2004.

Minnie was blessed with a personality that made everyone she came in contact with feel as though they had always known her. It was well known how much she enjoyed gardening, music, traveling, and her astounding love of animals. She supported many charities, including St. Jude's, AACP, and The Police Auxiliary, to name a few. She never shyed away from letting those who were important to her know that they were loved and appreciated. Her belief in her Lord and Master sustained her through whatever tragedies and challenges she endured. Her outer beauty matched that of her sparkling inner self and her smile was one of her best features. Minnie was a strong, proud, Southern woman. She was the epitome of the KENTUCKY WOMAN of which Neil Diamond wrote and sang.

Other than her loving husband, she was preceded in death by both her parents; sisters, Menda (Hamilton) and Gretel Newsome; and brothers, Elmer Newsome, Lloyd Newsome, Floyd Newsome, and Curt Newsome.

She is survived by her two daughters, Lisa (Dave) Hamalainen and Tonja (Scott) Malinowski; son, Gregory Bull; her 'daughter,' Linda Mann; 'son,' Bobby Clyburn; sister, Geneva (Gillespie); brothers, Delmar Newsome and Hansel Dean Newsome; plus numerous nieces and nephews that she loved very much. Minnie is also survived by her grandsons, Brock Malinowski and Brett Malinowski, whom without a doubt were her greatest sense of pride. Their love for her and hers for them was overwhelming and the three of them had a bond like no other. Minnie's spirit, beauty, and grace will live on and always be reflected through the heart and presence of her great granddaughter, Brooklyn Jordan Malinowski, daughter of Brock and Amanda Malinowski.

In honoring Minnie's request, there will be no calling hours or burial service. There will be a Celebration Of Life Memorial for her in the near future and those details shall be shared once they are finalized.
